Appointment Checklist
The below checklist aims to ensure a productive and successful notarization appointment. As a reminder, the pre-paid travel & convenience free is non-refundable if a notarization cannot be completed for any reason during the appointment (excluding Notary Public's error).

Please don't hesitate to email or call with any clarifying questions prior to your appointment.

Communication
All signers must be able to communicate directly with the Notary Public in English. It is unlawful in the state of California to use a translator during the notarization process.

Identification
All signers must bring a valid government-issued ID as listed in California Civil Code 1185. Please ensure the name on the ID matches that on the documents being notarized.

Type of Notarization
It's important to know whether you need an Acknowledgement or Jurat. If you are unsure or have questions about your documents, please consult directly with an attorney or the requesting or receiving agency before your appointment. As a reminder, it is unlawful for a Notary Public to give legal advice.
Completed Document
Complete your document, but do not sign until we meet in person. Be sure to bring the entire document to the appointment, not just the signature page.
Payment
Notarization fees are $15 per signature, as regulated by the Secretary of State. Payment for the notarization is due at the time of your appointment. Refer to our pricing and terms for more details.
